Here's where the good stuff is! Our documentaries of Catholic sacred spaces are divided into a decade (as in a Rosary) of waypoints. Simply click the decade links on the left and choose the sacred space you wish to view.
We start out in Alaska at Our Caring Mother for the Handicapped Shrine in Cooper Landing. We then move down the West Coast through Washington, Oregon and California, then we head East along the southern US border of Arizona, New Mexico and Texas for the first decade.
The second decade starts in Texas and travels northeast through Oklahoma, Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio. At this point the Covid restrictions begin to take their toll and we decide to head back home to Alaska in May of 2020.
On our journey back home we make a point to stop by several Shrines along the way. Our finding sacred spaces path takes us through Nebraska and Wyoming to start our third decade. Once in Alaska we reconnect with family and friends and see to the needs of our children and grandchildren.
Almost a year has past and we continue our Finding Sacred Spaces pilgrimage with the reliquary at Immaculate Conception parish in Fairbanks, Alaska. By the grace of God we travel safely through Canada in May 2021 and visit two very unique shrines in Washington state. Our next journey will take us to Clawson, Michigan to document Sacred Spaces in that area.
